The hearth was once the center of the home..the place where stories lived, where shoulders were offered to cry on, where laughter and silence were equally welcome.

Here, women sat together…stirring pots, nursing babies, weaving wisdom into the air like smoke.


The hearth was for more than warmth. It was for connection. Belonging. Remembering.
